In this clip from Munchies titled "The Family Behind LA’s Best Texas BBQ", a family of three had the death of the father that had created the idea for the restaurant that sold barbecue. it was hard for the family to heal from the death of that male figure because he was the inspiration that started the business. As a husband, he was there for his wife and would always stand by her side no matter what. His wife would also be able to stand by his side and support his dreams and goals. As a father, this male figure was able to influence his two sons in a positive way to help them be hard workers and passed on his legacy. The sons remember their father in a good light and his love for barbecue. They love barbecue because it is a way that they can remember their father and everything he has taught them. It's not easy to be able to recognize the hurt that they had in the moment but as a family they persevered so that they're able to not only continue the legacy of the male figure that had passed in their family but also be there for their customers and pay their bills.

This clip has shown that if a family wants to accomplish something together they're able to by their willingness to persevere through the good times and the bad. Even though the death of this male figure in this family took a toll on their mental health they were still able to create amazing food and experiences for their customers.

  1. This comment is for this weekend's homework (July 22):
1 - I think your entire blog is good, I love the background and how everything has a general color. But for this specific post there is white and black colored font. I think to make the blog a bit neater, keeping all the fonts the same color would be beneficial.
2 - For your graphic novel page, the drawing is upside down. Obviously, if you can't figure out how to turn it the other way it's fine. But again to stay with this neatness, trying to fix that would make it a bit neater.
3 - Finally, on this post again there is a section where the sentence goes off the page... I'm not sure if it is just a website issue, or something on the blogs end but maybe that is also something you look into a fix.
Overall, your blog is amazing! I love it! - Gabby
